Logis St. Jean is a large property near the centre of the medieval town of St Jean d'Angely; a short drive from the coast in central Charente-Maritime. The property consisits of a large four bedroom house (sleeps max 9+cot) and a two bedroom gite (sleeps max 4) with shared pool, spa, secure covered parking and a big garden with lawn, swings and boules court. The swimming pool is 50m2, heated by solar panels and meets the latest French safety standards. The outdoor jacuzzi is also heated. St Jean town hosts twice-weekly local produce markets and is centrally located for the many attractions of the Poitou-Charentes region. Charente-Maritime is famous for its countryside, its seafood and particularly its sunshine. The nearest beach is at Fouras, (about 40mins drive). The famous port of La Rochelle is under 1hr away.
